SP flayed BSP for demanding CM dismissal

Samajwadi party has flayed the Bahujan Samaj party president Mayawati for demanding the dismissal of the chief minister Akhilesh Yadav and imposition of the president rule in the state over the gang rape incident in Bulandshahar.

SP said politicisation and attempts to draw political mileage out of every kind incidents cannot be justified by any yardstick. SP maintained that come what may the state government will maintain the rule of law in the state.

“She is in the habit of demanding resignation ad imposition rule in the state. She had making this demand ever since the formation of the SP government in March 2012’’, said the SP spokesman and cabinet minister Rajendra Chowdhary  in a statement here on Monday.

“She had been the chief minister of UP for four times and she should have shown some sensitivity and maturity while expressing her views on the incident. Instead of condemning and expressing sympathy with the victims and their family members we hear the old rant of resignation’’, said the SP leader.

“The political wisdom of the BSP chief is so shallow and myopic that she could not see the prompt action taken by the chief minister Akhilesh Yadav to nab the culprits. Top police officials rushed to Bulandshahar to supervise the operation and succeeded in nabbing the accused’’, said Rajendra Chowdhary adding `` not only the accused were nabbed senior police officials were penalised and placed under suspension’’.

“The utterances of BSP chief on Buland shahar suggests that she has some personal grudge against the chief minister Akhilesh Yadav and tries to put the blame on Akhilesh Yadav   for even trivial incidents’, said Chowdhary adding “Mayawati while blaming the chief minister Akhilesh Yadav, conveniently forgets the incidents of rape in police4 station and murder of a chief medical officer inside the lucknow jail when she was the chief minister’.  SP leader alleged in many of the cases of crime MlAs and the ministers of the then BSP government were found to be involved and precisely for this reason she was voted out of power by the people in 2012.

SP leader said it’s the inherent right of the opposition parties to criticise the government but the concept of duty and responsibility cannot be ignored while exercising the rights.  He said the BSP president should not ignore the fact that the chief minister has always taken prompt action in every incident   and instead of drawing political mileage Akhilesh Yadav has always given priority to the humanity and providing relief and consolation to the victims and their family members.
