Samajwadi party has dismissed the second expansion in the Union council of minister headed by the prime minister Narendra Modi has ``futile exercise’ by the BJP, which is not going to make any impact on the fortunes of the people of the state. The ruling party said out of 80 lok Sabha seats in UP, the state had returned 73 MPs of the BJP and its ally and they in last two years have failed in making any contribution in the development of the state.
``The important issue is not the expansion in Union council of ministers, what is more significant is that does this event marks any change in the agenda of the BJP or it remains communal and divisive’’, said the SP Spokesman Rajendra Chowdhary.
``If the BJP feels that the people of the state can be swayed and misled by the change of faces, then they are making a mistake as the people want the delivery on the promises like controlling the inflation and bringing back the black money stashed in off shore banks and providing employment to the youth’’, said the SP leader adding `` the people of the state are highly disillusioned with the BJP as this part6y has failed to deliver on the promises even after two years in office’’.
The SP leader dismissed the claims of the BJP president Amit Shah about the Saffron party forming the next government in UP in 2017. He said the BJP was day dreaming and it has no idea of the ground reality.
