The Samajwadi Party workers continued with its much-hyped cycle Yatra on Sunday spreading the message of good work being done by the Akhilesh Yadav Government in last two years.
"What Samajwadi Party has achieved in just two years no other party can think of even in five years. This is the only Government of the country that has fulfilled almost all the promises made during election campaign," Juhie Singh, state secretary of the party, said while flagging off the rally in Indira Nagar area of the city.
She said that the Samajwadi Party Government is pro-poor and pro-farmers. It has taken decisions that have benefited one and all. The Government has distributed laptop among students opening a new frontier of opportunities before them. Girls are being given scholarship to continue their studies and loans of farmers are being waived of, Singh said.
"This Government is in a true sense welfare state that works for all sections of the society," Samajwadi Party leader said.The cycle rally passed through B-block Indira Nagar, Aamarpali market, C-block Indira Nagar and reached Survodaya Nagar passing through A block. This Yatra is being carried out on the directives of the party’s national president Mulayam Singh Yadav who has asked workers to apprise people of the achievements of the Government.
"A canard is being spread by opposition parties against the Government. This is being done with an intention to malign the image of Chief Minister and the Government. People should stay away from these lies," Juhie Singh said while flagging of the Cycle Yatra.
