SP, BSP ruined the state: Amit Shah

Published on:

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah has alleged that Samjwadi Party (SP) and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) governments have ruined the state in past fifteen years and people of this state want azadi from these mis-rules.

“Uttar Pradesh is craving for change and the change will come on March 11 when BJP will be elected to form next government. Once BJP comes to power nepotism, casteism and mafia-rule will be eliminated,” Shah said in Jaunpur on Sunday.

Addressing election meeting in Sujanganj of Mungarabad Shahpur assembly area in support of BJP candidate Seema Diwedi, BJP national president said that public gave chance to SP, BSP and Congress now Prime Minister Narendra Modi should get a chance to usher in development in UP.

Declaring that slaughter houses will be shut down after BJP gains the power Shah said the BJP want river of milk and ghee should flow rather that rivers of blood.

He said that development has come to a naught in UP under Akhilesh Yadav government. People are suffering. The present Samajwadi Party Government had only one mission to allow its supporters to grab government land and earn money through different projects.

“The much-hyped Agra-lucknow Expressway is a den of corruption. This needs to be probed as how and why so much of money was used in construction of 302 km highway where as Modi government has built highways, better than this, at half of its cost,” he said.

Urging the voters to give an overwhelming mandate to the BJP in the UP polls, Shah said the party, on coming to power, would ban all slaughter houses in the state and take a tough stand on land mafia. “The land –government or private should go back to its rightful owner. This is our commitment and we will ensure that,” he said.

Highlighting the achievements of Modi government Shah said under Ujjwala scheme more than two crore families got free lPG connections within two and half years.
