Calling both Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samaj Party being reduced to family parties r state BJP unit said that these “husband-wife” and “Bahinji – Bhaiji” parties could not look beyond projecting their relations.

BJP general secretary Vijay Bahadur Pathak said that both the SP and BSP have lost their rhythm after their humiliating defeat in the state assembly polls and now they are just reduced to parties which revolve around family members.

“What can you expect from a party whose fulcrum are husband-wife. This couple has shown other senior leaders of the party door and now they are busy projecting themselves,” he said.

“Akhilesh Yadav is too frustrated that he still could not accept his defeat. Blaming EVMs, media and voters for his defeat will create problem for the young leader who has grabbed party from his father Mulayam Singh Yadav,” he said in a statement here on Sunday.

He said that as now all the extended family members of Akhilesh Yadav have left him he is left only with his wife. “So it can be said that SP is now the party of husband and wife,” he stated.

Talking about the BSP president Mayawati BJP leader said that after promising from day one that no one of her party will enter politics she did an U-turn and appointed her brother Anand Kumar as the vice-president and second in command of the party.

“This decision will have a negative impact in the party as ED and IT are probing the illegal asset earned by Kumar. The BSP has now being turned into a party of sister and brother rather than of dalits as they claim,” he said and added that this will disconnect the dalits and backwards from the party.

Commenting on the so called SP- BSP alliance in the coming elections Pathak said politically both BSP and SP cannot join hands. Even if they join hands it will benefit BJP as dalits will desert BSP and ditto will be the case with backwards in SP.
