State BJP president Keshav Prasad Maurya said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s decision to demonetise high value notes has severely hit the Samajwadi Party and the Bahujan Samaj Party as crores of rupees illegally earned by the parties were reduced to trash overnight.
“You cannot expect those political parties to support the PM, whose ill-gotten money has been reduced to trash with one stroke. The common man is hailing the decision as they know this is a decision to help in curbing black money in India,” Maurya said while addressing Parivartan Rally in Dhampur in Bijnore on Wednesday.
The BJP leader said that Mayawati during her regime diverted public money to construct parks. She also earned riches by putting a tag on assembly tickets. The present SP regime has minted so much of money that a fight has erupted in the first family over division of this loot.
“Obviously these parties are bound to lose their sleep after the PM announced demonetisation of high value notes,” he said.
Moreover, Maurya said tha the SP is a big hurdle in extending benefits to the people. The Union government had sent money for cane farmers but the Akhilesh government refused to distribute the same.
“If you want to see UP as a developed state, give the BJP a chance. The state can only progress if both the Union and state governments work in sync,” he said.
Maurya also declared that once the BJP forms a government in the state, all the criminals will either go to jail or they will move out of UP.
