SP, BSP to be wiped out in polls: Yogi

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the Bharatiya Janata Party and its allies would destroy the Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samaj Party in the 2022 assembly elections owing to the strategy of Union Home Minister Amit Shah and NISHAD Party president Sanjay Nishad.

Addressing a joint rally of BJP and NISHAD Party in the presence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Lucknow on Friday, Yogi said, "It was due to the alliance between the BJP and NISHAD Party that we secured 76 seats in the region in the 2014 assembly elections. The Nishad community would be a happy lot with the grand Ram temple coming up in Ayodhya as it has sentimental attachment with Lord Rama since Ramayan period.”

"The SP, BSP and Congress have always conspired to dispute Lord Ram Janmabhoomi but we won the battle after a long struggle and now a grand Ram temple is being built at Ayodhya. Our government is going to build a grand memorial of Nishad Raj and Lord Ram in Shringverpur,” he said.

Broadsiding the SP, BSP and Congress for being non-serious about the security of the country,  the chief minister said that for the first time, the national borders could be secured under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

“Also, Article 370, which had become the biggest problem of Kashmir, was abolished,” he said.

Yogi revealed that in 2015-2016, the Samajwadi Party government had hatched a conspiracy to kill NISHAD Party president Dr Sanjay Nishad.

"Our timely intervention saw him getting admitted to the medical college and getting him justice. We will always stand by the Nishad community with honesty in all times to come. It was during the regime of Kalyan Singh when the fishing lease was first provided to the Nishads in rural areas. After SP-BSP governments discontinued the lease arrangement, we again revived it," the chief minister said.

On his government’s action against mafia and organised crime, Yogi said that now the bulldozer of the people of the state would raze the SP in the next elections.
