With the local residents of Amethi putting up posters of their Member of Parliament, Rahul Gandhi showing him RsMissing’, Party president Sonia Gandhi, who is also mother of Rahul, had decided to make a short visit to the constituency reportedly to silence the forces involved in the above campaign. Sonia, would be on a day visit to her Parliamentary constituency Rae Bareli on Saturday to assess the loss of crops due to recent rains, on Saturday.
Sources said that during her day-long visit, Sonia is expected to visit some villages in lalganj area, where crop destruction was the most. The Congress president is also likely to visit residences of some of the deceased, who were killed in the recent rail accident at Bachrawa. Six people from Rae Bareli had died in the accident, while 12 casualty were reported from Amethi, the Parliamentary seat of her son and party vice-president Rahul Gandhi.
Sources said that she is also expected to visit Amethi to meet the family members of the rail accident victims and to silent the people who were putting up posters of her son’s RsMissing’. The local Congressmen were already agitated over the above false propaganda against their leaders and had reportedly also torn many of the posters. Sonia is expected to return back to New Delhi on the same evening. It may be mentioned that Sonia Gandhi already reached lucknow, a day after rail mishap in Bachrawa, and met the injured at Trauma Centre in King Georges Medical University. She assured the family members and the injured that her Party would tried to forward all necessary help.
