Singh critisizes SP govt yet again

Published on:

Senior officer of the India Administrative Service (IAS) cadre, Surya Pratap Singh is once again in the news for speaking against the State government led by Samajwadi Party (SP).

Criticising the state government in Ferojabad district on Saturday, Singh said that the State is reeling under land mafias, mining mafias, cheating mafias, casteism and nepotism. He also added that incidents of rapes, immolation and other atrocities have become very common which is very serious matter of concern.

The IAS officer was speaking at the Chaupal  programme as a chief guest. He said that the condition of roads, power supply and potable water has hit to rock bottom level and no work is done without the help of any senior person.

It may be mentioned that a probe has been ordered against Surya Pratap Singh by the government and Chairman of the Revenue Board Anil Kumar Gupta is probing in the matter. Earlier,  Singh had also applied for the Voluntary Retirement Service(VRS) and the decision is yet to be taken on it though he is set to retire in December.
