Interestingly, Sharma's inclusion in the party along with the reinduction of two expelled party MlAs within last 24-hours in seen as a calculated step of Mayawati to eclipse the impact of Maurya’s exit.

Sources said that three Congress MlAs – Nawab Kazim Ali aka Naved Mian representing Saur Assembly segment, Dr Mohamed Muslim representing Tiloi Assembly segment, and Dilnawaz Khan representing Syara Assembly segment would also join the BSP very soon.
