Shivpal denies any differences  with Mulayam

After Samajwadi Party patron Mulayam Singh Yadav's picture 'went missing' from Samajwadi Secular Morcha posters in Etawah, Shivpal Singh Yadav denied any differences with his elder brother.

Shivpal clarified that the posters and hoardings for Gandhi Jayanti Yatra that did not have his elder brother's picture were replaced with new ones carrying his (Shivpal) and Mulayam's pictures.

Denying any motive behind the absence of Mulayam's picture from the posters, the SSM said it was a mistake of the printer.

Earlier, in what is being seen as a snub to Shivpal, the SP patriarch shared the stage with his son and SP chief Akhilesh Yadav at Jantar Mantar in Delhi on September 23. Mulayam also appealed to SP workers to ensure the party's victory in the 2019 general election.

Hence, the absence of Mulayam's picture in SSM posters/hoardings did not surprise political analysts. Sources said that Shivpal was unhappy with his elder brother for attending the SP cycle rally and sharing stage with Akhilesh, from whom Shivpal has been estranged for the last two years.
