Hitting out at Samajwadi party Government BJP’s national president Amit Shah said that state government has not utilized the money central government has released as compensation for farmers resulting in many peasants committing suicide.

“The Samajwadi Party Government is anti farmers. It is not serious in extending help to the farmers who lost crop due to unseasonal rains. It is blaming Union Government for its failure whereas the fact is that Akhilesh Yadav Government has not passed on the compensation central government has sent for the farmers,” Shah said during concluding season of party’s state executive meeting held in Ghaziabad on Tuesday.

He said the Modi Government has extending relief to farmers by bringing down the crop loss from 50 per cent to 33 per cent but it is unfortunate that UP Government has not carried out survey of crop loss as per new directives. “Thus, farmers are deprived of precious relief money.
