Samajwadi Party's 36 ministers sacked

Hitting out at Samajwadi Party the Bharatiya Janata Party said that sacking of 36 MoS status leaders was clear indication that they were employed to fetch votes for the party and when they failed they were shown the door.

“The sacking has vindicated BJP’s stand that Samajwadi Party Government had distributed lal battis to every Tom, Dick and Harry with a hope they would be useful for them in the election. After election they have been kicked out,” BJP spokesman Vijay Bahadur Pathak said in a statement issued here on Wednesday.

He said that if Samajwadi Party Government was serious in improving its image it should have sacked the ministers who did not perform. The ministers did much harm to the party and the government than these innocuous MoS, he said.

“Despite this ignominious defeat in lok Sabha election where people have rejected Samajwadi Party its ministers are still living in fool’s paradise. In Kanpur and Bulandshahr when people staged protest demanding better electricity the SP ministers said when you have not voted for us why you are asking for relief,” Pathak said.

“Is this the way ministers should speakIJ Will the doctors not attend to patients who have not voted for Samajwadi partyIJ Or the houses having BJP flags will not get electriocity,” he asked and said: “Elections are great leveler. The SP leaders should learn their lesson otherwise the party would be wiped out in coming days.”
