The Samajwadi Party will hold a conference on the occasion of Parashuram Jayanti on Sunday at the state party office.
The Minister of state for Agriculture, Agriculture Education, Agriculture Research and Religious Endowment Manoj Kumar Pandey while giving tghis inofrmation said that the conference will be attended by the SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav, the Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, legislative Assembly Speaker Mata Prasad Pandey, PWD Minister Shivpal Singh Yadav and others. According to Pandey delegates of Brahmin Sabha across the state have been asked to attend the conference on Sunday.
Meanwhile , the Muslim clerics from Bundelkhand and Madhya Pradesh met the Chief MInister Akhilesh Yadav and praised the policies and programmes run by the state government for the welfare of the Muslims. According to the state SP spokesman Rajendra Chaudhri, clerics offered shawl to the Chief Minister and assured him that on the pattern of the Uttar Pradesh, Muslims of the rest of the country will leave no stone unturned to ensure that SP supremo Mulayam Singh occupies the post of the Prime Minister after the next lok Sabha election.
