Calling Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh as anti-national Samajwadi Party said that the RSS works against the interest of Muslims and advocates policies which are against the tenet of Indian constitution.
He was reacting to the statement of a senior RSS leader where he said that only Hindus lived in India 800 years ago.
“The statement of RSS leaders saying only Hindus live in India is against the secular fabric of the country. Such statement was made to incite Muslims and other minority community members against Hindus,” SP spokesman Rajendra Chaudhry said in a statement issued here on Friday.
He said the in its on-going national conclave in the state capital the RSS leaders have chalked out a plan as how to vitiate the communal harmony of the state. “There is a well designed move to drive a wedge between Hindus and Muslims. The statement of RSS leader that only Hindus live in India is a reflection of this mind set,” Chaudhry said.
“Muslims have played an important role in nation building. Their contribution in India’s freedom is immense. In this scenario negating the existence of Muslims shows RSS does not believe in secular principles,” SP spokesman said.
He said that Samajwadi Party believes in equality and will not allow these communal forces to raise their heads in the state.
