Rashtriya Prajapati Mahasabha has announced its support for the ruling Samajwadi Party in the by-elections to one lok Sabha and 11 Assembly seats, slated for September 13.
Mahasabha’s president Sayonath Singh Prajapati in a statement here on Tuesday said it is only the SP and its president Mulayam Singh Yadav have supported the community while other political parties have ignored the genuine demands.
‘’SP had given us the status of scheduled caste in the previous Mulayam Singh Yadav government which was rejected by the Mayawati government,’’ Prajapati said.
He, further, said the community would go before the people and seek their support for the SP candidates in all the seats. ‘’We will aware the people that only a SP government could benefit the community while others have only given assurances but done nothing ,’’ he said.
