Removing Modi onlyagenda of oppn: Keshav

Terming the opposition unity as a ‘farce’, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya said that the opposition was left with the sole agenda of removing Narendra Modi and was therefore levelling false charges against the Central government and the Bharatiya Janata Party.

“Parties which are talking about opposition unity cannot see beyond their family and their personal interests. However, in the BJP, a small worker from any caste can rise to the top post of the country,” Maurya said while addressing a backward class conclave in Lucknow on Friday.

The Deputy Chief Minister said that the BJP was working on the principle of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ while the opposition was toeing the line of ‘Kuchh Ka Saath, Kuchh Ka Vikas’.”

“Can anyone forget the way the previous government attached VIP status to a select few districts where power supply was regular and infrastructure, including roads, were the best.  But in the Yogi (Adityanath) raj, all districts are being treated equally. There is no preference on power supply and roads in all the districts are ‘gaddha mukt’ (pothole-free),” Maurya claimed.

Talking about the achievements of the Modi government, the BJP leader said that the Prime Minister had formulated policies which were benefiting the poor of all castes and creed.

“Power connections are being given free of cost to all below poverty line (BPL) families while under Ujjwala Yojana, poor women are being given free LPG connections. These policies are aimed at benefiting the poor and the downtrodden and are the real face of vikas,” Maurya claimed.
