In a major bureaucratic reshuffle the state government shifted or posted 23 IAS officers on Saturday. The divisional commissioner lucknow and principal secretary Information department Sanjeev Dubey has been placed in waiting and be replaced by Devesh Chaturvedi while district magistrate Mathura Sameer Verma has been appointed as new DM of Kanpur.
According to an official spokesman the 1977 batch IAS officer A.K.Joshi who has come back from deputaion from Uttarakhand has been posted as chairman State Vigilance Commissioner and Administrative Tribunal-I . Rakesh Bahadur and Hemant Rao who were in waiting list have been posted as Commissioner Social Welfare deaprtment and princiapl secretary and commssioner Food and Drug Authority respectively.
The principal secretary Social Welfare , Women Welfare, Child Development and nutrition Sadakant has been shifted to the post of principal secretary Housing and Urban planning. Similarly Arun Singhal who was in waiting list has been posted as principal secretary Secretarial Administration Department. M.P.Agrawal who was district magistrate Kanpur has been posted as secretary Public Work Department.
Also in the waiting list Dr M.K.S.Sundram and G.Shriniwaslu have been posted as Housing Commissioner and director land ceiling department and special secretary Revenue Department. The secretary Higher Secondary Education Department Parthsarthi Sen Sharma has been shifted to the post of Managinf Director Uttar Pradesh State Road transport Corporation while divisional commissioner Devesh Chaturvedi has been appointed as divisional commissioner lucknow and principal secretary Information Department.
Jitendra Kumar who was secretary Human Right Commission has been appointed as commissioner Entertainment Tax while registrar King George Medical University Rakesh Kumar has been posted as special secretary Transport Department. The special secretary Shailesh Kumar Singh has been sent to the Higher Secondary Education Department in the similar capacity.
The principal secretary Praveer Kumar has been divested of the responsibilty of Food and Durg Authority, Housing and Urban Planning and will remain the principal secretary Medical and Health Department and Family Welfare. Similarly R.C.Shrivastav has been divested of the post of the chairman State Vigilance Commission and bAdministrative Tribunal -I but will contiue to hold the post of the director general of Uttar Pradesh Administration and Managment Academy.
The secretary Infrastructure and Industrial Development Department Dheeraj Sahu has been given the additional charge of PICUP. The principal secretary Navtej Singh has been divested of the additional charge of Coordination Department and will remain the principal secretary of Silk Department. The divisional commissioner Faizabad and MD PICUP Sanjay Prasad has been divested of the latter responsibility.
The project director DASP Rajan Shukla has been given the additional charge of coordination Department while Dr Kajal has been divested of the charge of additional mission director N.R.H.M but will continue with her responsibilty of special secretarty Medical and Health and Family Welfare. The transfer of Arvind Narayan Mishra has been cancelled and he will remain to discharge the job of special secretary Finance department.
