Rastriya lok Dal (RlD), UP has demanded CBI probe of Chief Engineer, NOIDA, Yadav Singh’s monetary scam case on Thursday.

Earlier, a delegation led by state president, RlD, Munna Singh Chauhan, met UP governor and handed him over a five point memorandum of demand. The delegation comprised of state secretary, RlD Anil Dubey, president Central UP, RlD Rakesh Kumar Singh Munna, State president Yuva RlD, Shyam Narayan Singh and Dr Suresh Yadav. The leaders apprised the governor of the rampant monetary corruption, land scams, deteriorating law and order and unaddressed problems of farmers in UP.

The leaders demanded that Yadav Singh’s political mentors should also be brought in probe ambit and a CBI probe should be ordered after dismissing or suspending Yadav Singh for his involvement in the scam. They demanded a re-probe of NOIDA Farm house scam and the culprit should be taken to task.

While raising concern over political patronage that controversial chief engineer, NOIDA Yadav Singh had had, the RlD leaders criticized the state government for shielding Yadav Singh despite recovery of huge cash from him by the IT sleuths recently.

They said Yadav Singh secured departmental promotions by political blessing of state governments either in SP regime or during the BSP regime. The leaders said the government had tightened the noose around Yadav Singh in the initial phase of it’s governance but later the engineer managed to secure the blessing.

Criticizing UP Chief Minister’s stand on Yadav Singh’s issue they said it was sounded ridiculous that the state government ordered to suspend a lady IAS office without conducting a probe against her but in Yadav Singh’s case it was still waiting for probe report to be concluded.

RlD leaders pointed out that law and order situation was in utter failure in UP with mafias and ruling party workers were taking law in their hand. They said farmers and sugar cane growers were facing a lot of hardship in UP due to disparity in policy to address their problem. They said hoarders were black marketing Urea but state government had no concern with these.

They demanded strict measures for maintaining law and order besides one-time payment instead in installments to sugar cane growers, paddy purchase centers to be functional, uplifting of ban on paddy import imposed by central government and to curb black marketing of urea in UP.
