Rape accused BJP MlA from Bangarmau (Unnao) Kuldeep Singh Sengar was lodged back at Unnao Jail after his 14-day custodial remand with the CBI ended on Fridaymorning.
The CBI team tried to get an extension of remand but the court refused and ordered to lodge him back at Unnao jail.
Sengar’s aide and co-accused Shashi Singh was also lodged in the jail as her remand also ended on Friday. The CBI team will now file a status report on all the cases, including the rape of the girl and murder of her father wuth the High Court on May 2, as per directions of the High Court.
Sources confirmed that the CBI has found the presence of the accused MlA in Unnao on the fateful day (April 3) when the rape victim’s father was brutally assaulted leading to his death later on.
They also gathered evidences about the the MlA visiting the SP’s office to ensure that a case was not registered against his brother Atul Singh Sengar or his aides. He succeeded in his efforts as the local police did not register any case against his men but instead, booked the girl’s father after registering a fabricated case of attack and also for carrying illegal weapon. later, it was the local doctor who helped the MlA and his aides in preparing a medical report certifying the victim `fit’ to be lodged in jail.
Sources further said that the CBI also received some audio recordings pointing towards the MlA and his cronies influencing the police to register four fake cases against the victim’s family including her uncle.
Despite finding the above facts, the CBI has so far neither included the name of Kuldeep Singh Sengar in the murder case, nor initiated any legal proceedings against any officer from the police department or government hospital doctors.
The CBI team has not so far applied to conduct narco analysis or polygraphy test of any of the accused including the MlA. They also did not conducted potency test of the rape accused MlA during custody remand and have now moved court to seek permission in this regard.
