Deputy Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Uttar Pradesh, Ramakant Pandey would be the new CEO after Umesh Sinha has been permanently shifted to Election Commission as Deputy Election Commissioner. Official sources confirmed here on Saturday that Pandey will continue as the CEO till any new officer is appointed on the post. Sinha was the CEO of UP since September 24, 2009 and was holding both the charges of Deputy election Commissioner and CEO, UP since July last.
