Ram Vilas Paswaan lambasted Bahujan Samaj Party

Union minister for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution Ram Vilas Paswaan lambasted Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and Samajwadi Party (SP) for  poor development in the state and alleged of playing religious politics in their respective regime.
“Mayawati and Mualyam Singh Yadav raised several slogans during past elections held the state dividing people on religious and caste lines. But what was the outcome, Mayawati got zero and Mulayam had to settle in peanuts during lok Sabha election. The seats won by both the parties were equal with our single party fetched,” said Paswan while addressing lok Janshakti Party (lJP) workers meet in the state capital on Tuesday.
Mayawati’s BSP made base on Dalit voters while SP made several promises before assembly elections 2012 for upliftment of Muslim community. Making ground to enter into Uttar Pradesh before Vidhan Sabha Election 2017, lJP talks about development politics. “SP Chief Mulayam Singh feels good when  addressed as “Mullah Mulayam”  but what he had done for the community. He made promises to provide 18 percent reservations to the community which remained unfulfilled. For Dalits, he had different attitude which was revealed during Dalit Reservation issue in parliament when his party opposed it openly. On what basis he calls himself as people’s representative,” he questioned.
Praising Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) and Prime Minister Narendra Modi,Paswan said Mayawati and Nitish Kumar were with BJP in past but still abuse Modi. More than 12 years have passed to Godhra incident and after which nothing like such had taken place. PM had already said be it minority, majority or dalits giving them security is our responsibility. “Modi had been visiting foreign nations and large number of people gather to hear his words. Mayawati and Mulayam Singh would never have got such crowd in their rallies. The campaigns of PM have made people aware of their duties and at present people are cleaning their own nation,” he added.
Criticizing SP led state government for not implementing Food Security Bill in the state, he said Why the state government had been delaying Food security bill in the state when centre is giving it. Recently I was in Gorakhpur, there even ration card is not given to the people in such case where is all grains going. Paswan described lalu Prasad Yadav as an “expired medicine” while reacting to the RJD supremo’s reported statement in which he had said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has become an NRI (Non-Resident Indian). “lalu is expiry date medicine and being sick he should take rest,” he said. For Actor turned Politician and lJP leader, Chiraag Paswan it was his first formal visit to the state after joining Politics. Terming his father as his political guru, Chiraag slammed BSP and SP regimes alleging of wasting public money and poor development done in the state.
“I was working in bollywood but when I saw the insult done toward natives of UP and Bihar, I decided to join politics for development of  both the state. Its my wish to develop them to get back the respect of natives. Why these states do not have facilities like its there in other prominent cities and states,” expressed Chiraag in his opening address.
Commenting on politics of state, he said the state had seen many leaders but none of them did works for development and upliftment. I had expectations from young Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav but even he got into religious and caste politics for the sake of power. “Mayawati has different theory of development and Mulayam Singh follows religious politics. They talk of development during election, but even after years passed nothing was done. Just because of their failure I have come here. The state will witness change,” he added.
Continuing attacks on regional parties, Chiraag said in the state capital ‘Patthar ke Smarak’ were constructed worth crores. If the same funds would have been spent honestly on upliftment of poor, medical,  education and other public sectors the story of state would have been different. I went to Badaun to meet the family of rape case, the young chief minister remains silent and party chief gives foolish statement on grieve rape incident. “Mulayam Singh’s statement for rape should be considered as a contribution in the rape crimes. Instead of slamming incidents he was trying to turn it other way,” he added.
