Samajwadi Party national general secretary and spokesperson Ram Gopal Yadav on Tuesday, announced to donate one month's salary and Rs 20 lakh from his MP fund in the Prime Minister Relief Fund for Uttarakhand victims. In a letter written to Rajya Sabha chairman, Yadav requested him to do the needful.
UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav had earlier announced to give his one month's salary for the relief of the victims in Uttarakhand.
The CM had also appealed to all the ministers, party MlAs, MPs and even the public urging them to donate generously to the CM Relief Fund for providing help to Uttarakhand victims.
