After taking over as Director General of Shashastra Seema Bal (SSB), UP cadre officer Rajnikant Mishra started his four-day visit to Frontier Headquarters in lucknow on Monday.
A SSB spokesman said that the DG was accorded a ceremonial ‘Guard of Honor’ by SSB jawans soon after he reached the office on Mondaymorning and was later introduced to SSB officers. later in the evening, the DG had a meeting with senior officers of UP & Central government organizations.
During his visit to lucknow, Mishra will also call on Governor Ram Naik and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and discuss security arrangements along Indo-Nepal border.
Besides, Mishra would also meet DGP Sulkhaan Singh and review security preparedness of troops at the forward areas. He will also visit different SSB border outposts along Indo-Nepal border and review ongoing constructions and operational areas of the force. Mishra will also interact with jawans & other officers of SSB to assess their security preparedness incase of exigency.
