Rajnath holds Cong responsible for plight of farmers

Published on:

Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) Rajnath held the Congress responsible for the plight of the farmers of the country Poor governance as well as wrong long-term agricultural and economic policies since Independence are the main reasons for poor condition of the farmers of this country and had made their life miserable" claimed BJP national president Rajnath Singh.

He made the above comments while addressing two-day meeting of the members of state level executive committee of BJP Kishan Morcha in Gautambudhnagar (Noida) on Saturday afternoon.  Rajnath Singh said that India is Agriculture based country and 70 per cent of the population is still directly or indirectly dependent on it and they decide the future of this nation. Rs Rs The development model in the country should be based on the thoughts of Mahatama Gandhi, Deen Dayal Upadhaya, lohia etc only than the country could progress",

Rajnath Singh pointed adding that they should take lessons from some countries who reached the war like stage just due to poor economic policies.  Taking on Samajwadi Party on the matter, Rajnath Singh said that state government too failed to address the problems of farmers and no effort is being made to give them any kind of facilities. Rs Rs The farmers in the state are forced to roam here and there in search of some help but it is sad to say that the Government had closed it’s eyes towards the plight of the farmers", BJP national president alleged. He said that the farmers are not getting even basic price of their crop and middle-men were making huge profits just as they enjoyed patronage of the government.

It is irony that just to get their dues, the farmers had to knock the doors of the court and spent a huge sum as fees",added Rajnath Singh while demanding immediate clearance of all pending dues of the farmers as well as cane growers. Former chief minister Kalyan Singh while speaking of occasion claimed that 2014 Parliament elections will turned out to be Rs turning point’ for the country. He said that a BJP led government at the Centre in a necessity today as farmers, youths and everyone is fed up under the regime of

United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government and are desperate to throw them out of the power.  Charging the Akhilesh Yadav’s government, state president of the BJP, laxmikant Bajpai said that farmers were worried for not getting fertilizer or proper power supply in the State. He said that the assurance of Samajwadi Party in their manifesto during last Assembly elections that if they came to power than they will give 18-hours supply in the villages is nothing but a big lie to grab power after cheating the farmers. He said that the BJP is fighting for the cause of farmers in the State as well as all other parts of the Country and claimed that once they will come to power after next general elections, the scenario will automatically change and that the farmers will get all their Rs dues’.
