Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi would pay a day- long visit to his parliamentary constituency on Wednesday. This will be his second tour to Amethi within a month. He visit in July last along which his sister Priyanka Gandhi and stayed for three days spending most of the time in strengthening the organization.
According to sources, Rahul Gandhi will reach Fursatganj airport by a special flight at around 0930 hrs and will directly go to Rajiv Gandhi Mahila Vikash Pariyojna in Jais area to hold meeting with the women of the Self Help Group (SHG). The Congress MP will spend most of the time in Jais and then is expected to visit a few Congress leaders to express his condolences on the death in their families. He is expected to return New Delhi on Wednesday evening.
