Roaring on the turf of Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate, Kumar Vishwas commenced his Jhadu lagao Beimaan Bhagao Yatra in Amethi constituency on Wednesday.
Rahul Gandhi was too in Amethi to participate in a rally. Commenting on it, Vishwas said Amethi’s MP has only four hours for his constituency and he cannot give more time to the people who elected him. “In this yatra, I will be spending nights in the villages only so that people can see the difference,” he adds. Terming his campaign as ‘Four Hours versus 40 nights’, he said this lok Sabha constituency was sleeping since decades, to awake the people he has started this yatra during which he will carry out public meetings in all the villages.
He claimed that in Pachimdwara villages the electricity transformers were lying defunct from past two years and the local administration doesn’t care about the people of country’s most VIP constituency. “In Muswapur village, the farmers complained that the bridge constructed on nearby canal was too far from villages due which they have to face hardships,” he added.
