Public Works Department (PWD) will constitute a task force comprising senior officials to ensure quality of under construction roads and bridges in UP.
PWD minister, Shivpal Singh Yadav speaking at a press conference in Jaunpur on Saturday, said, the task force will launch intensive inquiry in to all undergoing departmental works to ensure high standards.
He said, all district headquarters will be linked to four lane roads as sufficient funds has been allocated in this direction. Stressing at government's commitment to give corruption free administration, the minister said, action has been taken against about 100 engineers found indulging in corruption during pervious BSP government.
