The PWD department has started a statewide cleanliness drive around offices and roads launching “Meri sadak, mera sarvajanik sthal” campaign.
Additional Chief Secretary (PWD) Sanjay Agarwal carried out inspection at the local office on Sunday. “The department has decided to organize cleanliness drive on first Sunday of every month wheren employees will clean the office and surrounding areas,” Agarwal said in a statement issued here oin Sunday.
He said that if we can keep the environment around the offices clean it will in turn help employees to remain cheerful and healthy.
The campaign Meri sadak, mera sarvajanik sthal was launched by Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya in Ghaziabad today. There he issued directives to all the heads of PWD to religiously follow this campaign on first Sunday of every month. “Employees should also take part in this campaign,” he said.
