PState Congress condemned chief minister’s announcement for not immediately implementing the Food Security Bill in the State.

Akhilesh Yadav and his company were trying to fool the poor public of the State by claiming that they could not implement the Food Security Bill due to bad shape of the State economy”, alleged spokesman of the Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee (UPCC) while reacting to chief minister’s statement on implementation of the above Bill here on Wednesday evening.

Government had money to run schemes of distribution free laptops, sarees, blankets, cycles and other items in the name of fulfilling Samajwadi Party’s manifesto, but had no funds to implement food security bill”, cited Maroof Khan while alleging that the stand of Akhilesh Yadva clearly proved that he wanted to run only those schemes in which his Party leaders could make money through corruption.

Will Akhilesh tell that why the schemes of distributing free tablets, sarees, blankets, cycles etc were run even when they are of very little use for the public but Food Security Bill which would fetch the poor public who sleep without eating anything has been not implemented in the name of lack of funds”, questioned Maroof Khan while making a frontal attack on the Government terming Akhilesh’s approach as Rs anti-public’.

Further attacking the Samajwadi Party’s government in the State, Maroof Khan said that Akhilesh Yadav failed on all front. Rs Besides industrial development or poor power situation in the State, Akhilesh also failed to generate employment for the youths. The farmers did not get good price for their produce and over Rs 4000 crore which is arrear of sugar cane growers is still to be cleared by the government despite of clear-cut orders of the High Court in this regard”, alleged Maroof Khan.

Congress spokesman claimed that Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi were working hard to forward all necessary helps to the poors. Rs Rs Besides several other schemes, Congress introduced Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Gurantee Act for employment, National Rural Health Mission to provide free health services and now Food Security Bill to ensure that no one sleep without taking food, but the State government is making a criminal offense be depriving the poors of their above Rights”, alleged Maroof Khan adding that the public will teach Samajwadi Party a lesson in the next Election for snatching their Rs Rights’.
