The Gandhi family, Congres president Sonia Gandhi, Congress vice- president Rahul Gandhi who were already busy campaigning for the Party across the country, would also address rallies in their Parliamentary constituencies later this month but Priyanka Vadra Gandhi would extensively campaign in Amethi and Rae Bareli and will kick off campaign from Tuesday.
It may be mentioned that Priyanka would be the main campaigner for both her mother and brother constituencies of Rae Bareli and Amethi as Sonia and Rahul would be busy in the country wide campaigning. According to the programme, Priyanka Vadra would be reaching Amethi on Tuesday and will hold meeting in Rae Bareli on Wednesday.
Congress media coordinator of Rae Bareli, Indrasheel Vikram Singh said on Monday, that Priyanka Vadra will return on Wednesday and would come back again to Rae Bareli for 8 days tour starting from April 21. During her stay Priyanka will hold road shows and address small meetings. Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi will address a single public meeting at his mother’s constituency at lalganj on April 20. But on the other hand Congress president too would be able to address just one rally at the GIC ground in her constituency on April 26. Rae Bareli goes to polls on April 30 while voting in Amethi would be held on May 7.
