Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, daughter of Congress president Sonia Gandhi, reached Rae Bareli for two days to revamp the party organisation.Priyanka reached Rae Bareli late at around 3:30 pm following delay in her service flight between New Delhi to lucknow due to fog. Sources said that after reaching Bhue Mau guest house in Rae Bareli, Priyanka commenced her meeting with the PCC, DCC, Block Congress committee members and other leaders.She is expected to continue her meeting with the leaders on Friday.
Sources said that there is no programme of Priyanka to venture out to visit the villages. Congressmen in Allahabad and Rae Bareli, have already demanded Priyanka be given more active role in the Congress after the lok Sabha elections.
