Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the 2021-22 financial year was about to end and all departments should thoroughly review the status of the fulfillment of their annual targets.
"While evaluating the utilisation of the budget, examine the position of their expenditure relative to the financial sanctions. In each case, action should be taken as per financial rules. If the Central share of any scheme has not been released from the level of the Government of India, then immediately contact the Centre and get it released," he said.
"Full attention should be given to revenue collection which is imperative for funding development and public welfare schemes. The process should be simplified for taxpayers. Keeping in view the General Budget of the Government of India for 2022-23 and Lok Kalyan Sankalp Patra-2022, the budget for 2022-23 of the UP government should be prepared," the chief minister added.
