UP Power employees joint Sangharsh Samiti has also called for an emergent meeting here on Saturday to chalk out the agitation programme against the effort of the state government.
The employees were agitated after a private survey company started data collection of the consumers required for handing over to the private companies.

‘’Though earlier, the government had given in writing to the Power Union that there is no move to privatize the distribution network in the state, but surprisingly the company has started collecting data of the distribution network in Meerut and Ghaziabad recently,’’ Dubey told reporters here.
