The police on Tuesday started attaching the properties of Jai Bajpai and his absconding brothers who are close aides of slain gangster Vikas Dubey.
A notice to this effect was affixed at Brahma Nagar house of Jai Bajpai, already lodged in jail, on Tuesday. The action was followed by beating of drums (dugdugi) in the locality to publicise the issue among the general masses.
Jai Bajpai’s 11 properties worth around Rs 37 crore would be attached within two days. Police were also trying to locate his other properties in other states, including Goa and overseas countries. Details of all such properties were being collected for verification and attachment.
