Social activist Nutan Thakur filed a Writ Petition in Allahabad High Court, lucknow bench as regards leakage of serious information from Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Intelligence Bureau (IB) and Home Ministry.
She sought appropriate directions from the court as no action has been initiated so far such leakages. In her PIl, Nutan Thakur claimed that a lot of sensitive information has leaked from CBI office, lucknow and CBI Headquarters. Similarly, every details of a highly sensitive and selective meeting as regards the role of IB officer
Rajender Kumar in Ishrat Jahan encounter, attended only by R K Singh, ex Home Secretary, Ranjeet Sinha, CBI Director, S A Ibrahim, IB Director and A P Singh, ex-CBI Director got leaked to public.
Thakur claimed that she sent many complaints to enquire into these leakages of information and fix responsibilities, including removing the CBI and IB Director, if found responsible. She said that since there has been no action so far, so she was forced to approach the High Court to issue appropriate directions to the authorities to enquire into these complaints.
