Aam Aadmi Party UP incharge Sanjay Singh welcomed Lok Jan Shakti and OBC Mahasabha leaders into the party fold on Sunday. Addressing mediapersons on the occasion, he said New Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal’s model of governance has attracted the public of UP towards AAP. He said people of the country were appreciating the Kejriwal government which brought several public welfare schemes.
He said more leaders and people are joining AAP as they find it a strong alternative to BJP which made hollow promises and left the people in the lurch, due to its faulty policies.
AAP state president Sabhajeet Singh welcomed the new entrants and said they would strengthen AAP’s poll prospects in 2022.
He said BJP promised to bring OBCs into the mainstream at the time of election but forgot the same after coming to power. Sabhajeet said the atrocities against OBCs have increased during the BJP government and it was time to uproot the government in the forthcoming elections.
