People’s support for BJP growing: Modi ‘Aayegi to BJP hi, aayenge to Yogi hi’

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that people’s support is growing for the BJP with every phase of Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh and once again the residents are reiterating - “Aayegi to BJP hi, aayenge to Yogi hi”.

Addressing a huge election rally in Fatehpur, the Prime Minister said: "The enthusiasm of people suggests that BJP will definitely win the 2022 elections. People rejected dynasts and their votebank politics in 2014, 2017 and 2019 elections in UP and they will do the same in 2022 as well.”

Modi said that people have realised that the opposition parties only dished out empty slogans when they were in power, while on the contrary, the BJP government worked on the ground to protect their honour and empower them.

“In this election, on the one hand you have nationalism and on the other, there are debates and discussions. That’s why people did not listen to opposition parties when they were carrying out their misinformation campaign against Covid vaccines while our government was working tirelessly to save people by providing them with free vaccines and free ration. They not only have problems with Modi & Yogi, but also the vaccines. Their real problem  is that if the poor and underprivileged get empowered, it will end their cut commission mafia,” he remarked.

Cautioning voters against the opposition parties’ desperate attempts to woo them in order to take revenge on them, the Prime Minister said that they would never be able to understand the agony of a poor and deprived person, because they were born with silver spoons in their mouths.

“When I announced from the ramparts of Red Fort about the construction of toilets to protect the honour of women, the opposition parties protested. When we made a law against the triple talaq system to protect Muslim women from an inhuman, medieval practice, they protested again. This is because they do not want empowerment of people as it does not suit their kind of politics. Muslim girls / women are voting for the BJP today silently because of this bold step", Modi pointed out.

“These dynasts do not like the nation to grow. They do not want a self-reliant India. As for us, we believe that empowerment of people will be easier if we are self-reliant. I have been talking about ‘vocal for local’ ever since I became Prime Minister to promote local products. Yogiji introduced 'One District One Product'scheme to promote sale of local products globally. If Fatehpur’s chilly, peda, iron products or handicrafts and Bundelkhand’s toys are available in the market, it will benefit numerous engaged in the entire business," he said.

The Prime Minister said that the region had become a den of criminals and mining mafia during the previous government and urged people to ensure that such people did not come to power in order to end the ‘cut-commission era’, that deprived them of the benefits of welfare schemes.

Modi pointed out, "The BJP has been working on the Rs 44,000 crore Ken-Betwa Link Project, which had been pending since long, to ensure that water reached every agricultural farm and benefited from it. The BJP government is also working on a number of Expressways and industrial corridors to develop Uttar Pradesh. So vote for those who toil to improve your life rather than those who make empty announcements. Vote for those who work to realise your aspirations and not those who go to a deep slumber after making announcements."
