The day senior BJP leader Subramanian Swami claimed that the construction of Ram temple will start by the end of 2016, BJP MP from Unnao, Sakshi Maharaj announced that the party will go to the 2019 lok Sabha polls after constructing a grand Ram temple at Ayodhya.
“The construction of Ram Temple is continuing for the past several years. After Mahant Nritya Gopal Das had performed ‘shila pujan’ last month, the construction work has been spee up. We are thankful for the Mahant’s effort,” Sakshi Maharaj told reporters in Etah on Friday.
He said that since the day locks were opened by late Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, the construction of the Ram temple hasbeen underway.
Sakshi stressed that the construction of Ram eemple would be completed before the 2019 Parliament polls. “There are three ways of constructing the Ram temple. First, through mutual agreement, second, by Court’s order and lastly, by passing an Act like Somnath Temple,” he said.
The BJP MP said that the Ram temple was always on the agenda of the BJP. This issue has nothing to do with politics as it is concerned with the faith of people and their love for lord Ram.
“When we can honour and respect Quran and Mecca and Madina, why is there opposition to construction of Ram temple,” he asked. “Muslims should also respect our Ramayana and Mahabharata like we respect Quran,” he said.
Sakshi Maharaj also said that six lakh Muslim of Madhya Pradesh have given in writing that they are not opposed to the construction of Ram Temple at Ayodhya.
