All major political parties criticised re-inducting of controversial leader Raghuraj Pratap Singh aka Raja Bhaiya into Akhilesh Yadav’s cabinet and claimed that Samajwadi Party leaders made the move just to influence the voters through muscle power as well as to polarise the voters on caste line.

Slamming Akhilesh Yadav for  re-inducting  Raja Bhaiya as Minister, senior BJP leader alleged that the independent MlA from Kunda was brought in to manage "Thakur" votes in the State. "The Samajwadi Party government has re-inducted Raja Bhaiya out of compulsion, because it thinks that if Raja Bhaiya gets upset, a wrong message will be sent to the Thakurs, for which it will have to pay in the next lok Sabha polls,"  Vinay Katiyar alleged while commenting on coming back on Raja Bhaiya into Akhilesh Yadav’s cabinet.

Vinay Katiyar who was in Kanpur to review preparations for Narendra Modi's rally, said the move will not help the party during the elections. Reacting on Raja Bhaiya’s re-induction, BJP state president laxmi Kant Bajpai claimed that Akhilesh Yadav was left with no other option as he wanted to save Azam Khan from any action Sting operation and further developments all pointed that Azam Khan was involved in communal riots in Muzaffarnagar but Akhilesh wanted to take no action against him hence he  re-inducted Raja Bhaiya into his cabinet", alleged Bajpai while pointing that to avoid any question being raised that why he (Akhilesh) took resignation from Raja Bhaiya after his name came in Dy SP’s murder but not do the same with Azam Khan when he too was found involved in riots which already claimed 62 lives besides leaving over 50,000 homeless. Bajpai too claimed that since the member of a particular caste was annoyed with this double standard of Akhilesh who is adopting appeasement policy hence to silent them chief minister took back Raja Bhaiya.

Attacking SP for taking back Raja Bhaiya, spokesman of the Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee (UPCC) Dwijendra Tripathi said that SP is breaking all records in facilitating criminals just under the damage control exercise of Muzaffarnagar riots. Rs Rs On Wednesday, SP announced to give lok Sabha ticket to Shivkanya Kushwaha, wife of Babu Singh Kushwaha who was behind bars for siphoning of crores of  rupees which has been send by the Centre for medical help of the poor and down-trodden section of the society. Now two days later they took back Raja Bhaiya back into the cabinet even when decision of closure report in which the MlA from Kunda claimed to have got clean chit is still pending with the High Court", pointed Congress spokesman while alleging   that both instances showed that SP is giving patronage to criminals.

Everyone knew criminal past of Raja Bhaiya or even Babu Singh Kushwaha who is presently facing several enquiries of corruption but the duo were taken back as SP wanted to make compromises just to lure the Thakur as well as backward class votes by facilitating Raja Bhaiya and Kushwaha’s family",  Dwijendra claimed adding that Akhilesh not just gave ticket to Kushwaha’s wife but is also making a move to withdraw cases against him.

Congress spokesman further claimed that height of compromise by Akhilesh Yadav’s government is evident that they removed a DG rank officers from Economic Offence Wing and later also from Cooperative Cell of the Police Department just as tightened the nose around Kushwaha and some other ministers of Mayawati, three of whom were already in jail, in connectiong with huge irregularlities in lACCFED.  Bahujan Samaj Party also came down on SP government on Raja Bhaiya’s induction.

There is nothing surprising as everyone knew that only criminals and mafias flourished in this Party", alleged BSP spokesman adding that massacre of innocent people in Muzaffarnagar involving a minister or prevalent jungle raj in the State is all courtesy of SP government. We already sought removal of Akhilesh Yadav’s government as we knew the people were already living under fear", spokesman claimed.
