Defending conduct of Saifai Mahotsava and foreign jaunt by State Government ministers along with legislators Samajwadi Party said opposition parties were making false noise because they could not find fault with the Akhilesh Yadav Government’s working.
"The opposition parties are criticising the state Government for the sake of criticism. The Akhilesh Yadav Government has done very good work and has fulfilled almost all the promise in less than two years. Instead of congratulatingChief Minister the opposition parties are criticising Chief Minister for no fault of his," party’s spokesman rajendra Chaudhry said in a statement issued here on Thursday.
He said that opposition is adopting double standard. The study tour of parliamentary delegation is nothing new. Ministers and legislators have gone to foreign countries in all tenures. This improves relations between the countries. "The Samajwadi Party Government has not taken any special step. The delegation also comprises BJP and RlD legislators," he said.
About Saifai mahotsava Chaudhry said that such cultural events are organised to promote local talent and local culture. In that function Olympic medal winners were given awards. local sports like wrestling, cycle race and local folks like Nautaki were performed.
