With an aim to speed up implementation of industrial projects the officials have been asked to review the same every Monday.
UP Disinvestment and Industrial Development commissioner Alok Ranjan said that the important projects would be completed timely and problems related to land acquisition and other formalities would be removed. He asked the officials to speed-up the developmental projects.
Ranjan issued these directions, while reviewing the progress of Trans Ganga Yojana, Unnao, starch project in Kannauj, Amul dairy plant (Kanpur, Varanasi, Etawah and lucknow) and mega leather cluster in Sandila.
He further noted that the river Ganga should be kept pollution-free and arrangement for treatment of sewage should be made.
The official also stressed upon the need to encourage housing, industrial and institutional areas.
