Nutan demands CBI probe in PCS exam 2015

With both two national police parties – Congress and the Bharatiya Janta Party already demanding a probe by the sleuths of the Central Bureau of Investigation into PCS preliminary examination paper leak case, social activist Nutan Thakur, handed over a  memorandum to Governor, Ram Naik, making a similar demand on Tuesday.

Nutan Thakur claimed that she went to the Governor House on Tuesday afternoon and  presented a memorandum to Ram Naik demanding ar CBI enquiry in PCS exam paper leak case.  In the memorandum she presented 22 points including clean chit to the Commission and senior officials by Special Task Force (STF) IG in the very beginning of investigation. She said that IG STF has repeatedly said in the official Press conference that there is no role of the Commission and the initial denial of the Commission about leakage of papers etc.

It may be mentioned that on Monday, both Congress and BJP flayed state government for their inaction on the paper leakage case and alleged that large scale irregularities in recruitment, whether it was in Police Department, or now for selection to the top most services of the State, had clearly pointed towards a deep rooted conspiracy and demand a fair probe. Besides advocating for a CBI probe, the two political parties also demanded removal of chairman of UPPSC, Anil Yadav, claiming the entire controversy started after he came to power.
