Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Thursday claimed that there was no better alternative to `hard work’ for succeeding in life.
The CM said this after releasing a book `Hazaro Sapne ek Anand’ written on thelife Anand Kumar who started the `Super 30 coaching institute' in Patna (Bihar), gave necessary guidance to poor students and ensured their selection to the premier IITs for several years.
Yadav said that his government was committed to facilitating all help to outstanding students who excelled through hard work in life.
"Every student should dream big and work hard to fulfill it. Students from all sections of the society should only focus on studies. The rest will be taken care of by the Samajwadi Party government," said Yadav.
The CM said that free coaching institutes akin to the 'Super 30' will also be opened in Uttar Pradesh for the poor students, who despite excelling in Board examinations could not join institutes for taking examination for future studies.
Hailing the efforts of Ananf Kumar, Yadav said that there are just few examples when people come forward to facilitate poor children with guidance and support and nurture them to take the difficult competitive examinations in the country like that of IIT entrance test.
"The SP government is running several programs to facilitate poor yet outstanding students in taking up higher studies. Many students were doing their graduation it IIT with help from the state government. Anyone who has talent in any field but are restrained due to financial crunch can approach us and we will provide all help,” assured the Chief Minister.
On the occasion, an artist also showcased his talent by carving out a cycle from clay within 50 seconds before the Chief Minister.
Chief Secretary Alok Ranjan, who was also present, had appealed to open a `Super 30’ institute in UP for proper guidance to poor students.
In his address, 'Super 30' onwer Anand Kumar said he will be holding examinations in 11 places of Uttar Pradesh June 19. "Those who are selected will be imparted education and guidance so that they could clear IIT entrance examination," said Kumar.
