A Bareilly court has issued non-bailable warrants against UP Minister of State for Small Scale Industries and Export Promotion, Bhagwat Sharan Gangwar, and five others in connection with an old case registered in the district.
The court issued the NBWs against the minister, his son Atul, Ganna Samiti Chairman Arvind Gangwar, Ganna Samiti Director Purshottam Gangwar, Prahlad Gangwar and Ravindra Swarup on Saturday .
The minister and his supporters were involved in a clash during the election of Nababganj Ganna Samiti on April 11, 2008. The NBWs were issued after the minister and the other accused did not appear in the court during the hearing.
