The CM assured the people of Barabanki that like Ayodhya, which has been lit up by lED lights, the Mahadewa temple will also be illuminated by the same lights. He also assured that the world famous 5000-year-old `Parijat’ tree would be developed.

listing the achievements of his eight-month-old government, Yogi said, “Our government had promised to shut down illegal abattoirs which has been done. We have reclaimed several acres of encroached land and sent land mafia to jail.”

The CM also said, “After centuries of wait, Diwali was celebrated in Ayodhya the way it used to be celebrated in ancient times.” He said that his government had waived farm loans of Rs 36,000 crore and provided school uniforms to 1.54 crore students besides giving 11 lakh homes to the poor.

“The BJP government ended caste and family politics in the state and instead brought the focus on farmers’ issues and social and economic development. To boost eco-friendly and energy-efficient power, we decided to light up every street light of districts with lED lights,” he said.
