The internal feud of Samajwadi Party's first family seems to be the ebb giving rise to possibility of the sacking of SP leader in Rajya Sabha Ram Gopal Yadav being revoked soon.  The decision is likely to be taken either on the birthday of SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav on November 22 or a day before.  Mulayam Singh, along with son and Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, is likely to inaugurate lucknow- Agra Expressway on November 21.

The SP's stand vis a vis Ram Gopal Yadav seems to have softened. He not  only continues to be the SP leader in Rajya Sabha but also spoke in the Rajya Sabha on Wednesday, during the debate on demonetisation of high value notes.

While state SP chief Shivpal Yadav on the direction of the party chief had announced Ram Gopal Yadav's expulsion from the party on October 23. for writing an open letter to party cadre on October 23 urging them to rally around Akhilesh Yadav terming him latter as SP's future. Besides, without naming Mulayam Singh or Shivpal Yadav, he cast aspersions on their integrity. The same day, Akhilesh Yadav had dismissed uncle Shivpal Yadav from the cabinet along with three other ministers. However, the party did not communicate the development to Chairman of Rajya Sabha.

In Rajya Sabha on Wednesday, Ram Gopal attacked the NDA government's decision to demonetise highvalue notes on the lines of a resolution adopted by SP Central Parliamentary Board meeting in lucknow on November 13. Party sources said that the resolution was adopted to pave the way for Ram Gopal's return to the party.

SP sources said Ram Gopal is likely to retain his status as the `face of the SP in Delhi’ and also hold the office of general secretary and its national spokesman. With his return, the issue of sacking of five MlCs and other youth leaders in recent months is also likely to be settled.
