Terming the FIR lodged against the 42 policemen in connection with the custodial death of terror accused Khalid Mujzhid as an act of Muslim appeasement , the state BJP has announced that it will stand by the policemen against whom the FIR has been lodged witjout any logica and rational.
The state BJP president Dr lakshmikant Bajpai while talking to mediapersons said on Tuesday that custodial deat of anyone was a serious issue and it must be probed sincerely. " This should be also applicable in the case of Khalid Mujzhid but the rest is unacceptable" he said. " The FIR lodged against police officers and policemen is politically motivated and act of shameless appeasement" he added.
The state BJP president said that the the claim that Khalid Muzahid was arrested from Jaunpur and his arrest was shown from Barabanki after few days was completly concocted and lodging of the FIR on this basis against the top police officials was a move which will demoralise the morale of the force. " The BJP will oppose this move and stand by these cops" Bajpai said.
The state BJP president also raised doubts about the intention of the state governmnt. Three inquries are being conducted simulaneously in the same case which has never been seen befere. "The state government recommended CBI probe, Home Department is also conducting while judicial probe has also been ordered. Is this the act of a government or some commedy circus going on" asked Bajpai.
The state BJP presdient said that more than 3.63 lakh BJP workers will particiapte in the jail bharo stir commecning from May 27 and will culminate on June 2. He said that on May 27 in Amethi, the parliamentary constituency of national vice president Rahul Gandhi more than 10000 BJP workers will offer court arrest against the corruption and price rise for which Congress, SP and the BSP are equally responsible.
