Continuing with her tirade against Narendra Modi Congress star campaigner Priyanka Gandhi Vadra called BJP leaders as frustrated lot who are running like “desperate rats” and said country does not need 56 inch chest but a compassionate heart that could understand problems of the people.
‘There is nothing new in what the main Opposition was saying. They are running around like an agitated rats and I know that they will do such during the elections,’’ she said during an election meeting in Rae Bareli on Sunday.
‘’let them do what they want. I am not scared of them. I am not scared of anything,’’ she said and added that she would continue to speak against BJP’s negative politics. ‘’They are going for personal attacks and negative politics but I will continue to aware the people about the real motive of the BJP behind such malicious tirade against my family members,’’ she said.
The BJP accused Robert Vadra of indulging in fraudulent and unscrupulous land deals. They also released a documentary on his deals that allegedly helped him build a Rs 300 crore empire.
BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad alleged in New Delhi that Vadra’s land deals had the blessings of Sonia Gandhi and her son Rahul Gandhi. He also said that if an investigation was carried out, there would be multiple criminal cases as far as Vadra was concerned.
Priyanka hits back on BJP saying India does not need 56 inch chest to run the country but needs a kind heart. Addressing a series of election meetings in Rae Bareli she also said that nation has no place for divisive politics. ‘’ We must save this country from communal forces,’’ she said without naming BJP.
"It’s not an election in which you can limit your thinking. Think about the women, child, youth; think about the future of this nation. What kind of country you want. What kind of politics you want - a politics of brotherhood and harmony or a politics which spreads rage and hatred,” Priyanka Gandhi Vadra reminded. Priyanka, who is single handed led the campaign for her mother in Rae Bareli, where polling is scheduled on April 30, today addressed more than 11 public meetings. Priyanka will hold a road-show in Rae Bareli city on Monday before leaving for New Delhi.
