Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi on Tuesday said that the assembly elections to be held in four states, including West Bengal, were a battle of mandates between participation of communal votes versus viability of inclusive development.
Addressing the Bharatiya Janata Party workers in Rampur after receiving the Covid vaccine shot, Naqvi said that the "political mood" of the country had changed. He claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had become an authentic brand of development and good governance.
"He (Modi) has made a successful attempt to bring the light of development to every needy through the resolution of inclusive development and inclusive empowerment without any discrimination," he added.
The BJP leader averred that gone were the days of climbing the ladder of politics with rhetoric. "Some political parties consider politics as their birthright due to heritage. Such people are failing on the 'test of karma'," he said.
Earlier, Naqvi got the first shot of the coronavirus vaccine at Dalmia Hospital of the district. He said that the 'Made in India' coronavirus vaccines were absolutely safe and appealed to everyone, who was eligible for the vaccine, to get vaccinated and make India Covid-free.
